70th Anniversary Party

Honoree: PGK, FDD John Ksiazek
John has been not only an active member but enthusiastic supporter of Fr. Saylor Council for 41 years, during which time he has taken on many different roles and responsibilities including a Past Grand Knight and Former District Deputy. John was the creator of the Angel Award which recognizes the women associated with our Council who have given much of their time and talent to help our cause. He was also instrumental in instituting donations to the Pregnancy Center from our Council.

When PGK Tom Bardziewicz passed away, John did not hesitate to take on Tom’s job of getting the money envelopes ready for the bartenders each night. He does a great job running our Thursday morning golf league; along with doing our weekly attendance raffle each Sunday.

You may not know this, but John has contributed to the following activities of the Council as well: 150 Club, Christmas Party, Mostaccioli K of C Dinner, Exemplification Team, and still helps our Financial Secretary when problems arise.

Finally, John actively exemplifies the principle of charity outside of the Council as a volunteer at Fish &
Loaves Food Pantry and is also a part of its Board of Directors. Congratulations John on being selected as this year’s honoree, an award that you definitely deserve!
